His early influences were the acoustic stylists like Kottke, Kokaunen and Fahey, but exposure to jazz and alternative rockers left Ric with a unique fusion fingerpicking style. His music sparkles with inventive, exciting and unique sounds and defies classification--it is not folk, acoustic, jazz, rock or new age, but rather all of these and more.
