This is the familiar greeting received by any newcomer to Jack's wide circle of friends--good friends. And during his laughter and tear-filled thirty-four years, Jack made a remarkable number of good friends.

What is the Jack McPhillips Memorial Fund?

Single-handedly, Jack organized the first two Devonsquare/Schooner Fare benefit reunion concerts. With his untimely passing 20 years ago, JMMF was formed to continue his mission of humanitarianism in the local community. JMMF is a non-profit organization, designed to provide financial assistance to a wide range of local charities. It is administered by a board of directors composed of the McPhillips family and friends of Jack.

Who does the Fund help?

JMMF is a small but unique organization that seeks to help those who have little chance of finding help through large agencies or whose situation requires immediate assistance, e.g. fires. We depend upon friends and acquaintances to bring these needs to our attention. If you come across a crisis situation where you think we may be of help, please contact us by writing to: Jack McPhillips Memorial Fund, PO Box 2753, South Portland ME 04106.
